Hali Aldridge, LMHCA

Hali (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, whether the struggle is with anxiety, depression, or life transitions. She is especially skilled around issues related to grief and loss (including non-death).

Hali effortlessly creates a space for healing and growth. She customizes her strengths-based approach to each client, using mindfulness techniques, along with person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapies.

Indianapolis Counseling Julie Berendes Therapy Providers

Julie Berendes, LMHCA

Julie (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She is EMDR trained and has learned how to combine it with Internal Family Systems (IFS) model (IFS informed EMDR) to deepen trauma work. She is also trained in ERP treatment for OCD.

Before pursuing her dream of becoming a counselor, Julie spent almost two decades helping parents and children across all areas of life, including communication, child development, and parenting skills. 

Therapy can be uncomfortable at times, but Julie’s comforting style and quickness to laughter make the process that much easier. She enjoys helping teens and adults understand their stories and the impact on our lives.

Adam Alvey, LMHCA

Adam (he/him/his) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. He enjoys working with couples, families, and kiddos over the age of twelve. Adam promotes a safe space of unconditional positive regard for his clients with techniques from Mindfulness, Choice Theory, Gestalt Theory and the Gottman Institute. He has completed the Level 1 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Adam believes in the ‘here and now’ approach so clients can become fully aware of themselves in their current situation. In his couples and families work, he seeks to better understand the individual and how they relate to one another.

Living and traveling throughout the U.S. has given Adam an appreciation of the diversity and influences that make each human unique. He has been a strong LGBTQIA+ ally throughout his life.

Brittany Waitt, Master’s Level Intern

Brittany is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Marian University. She is excited to begin working with individuals who experiencing a wide range of behavioral and emotional concerns. 

Brittany would describe her therapeutic style as a humanistic and person-centered approach that can be customized to each individual. She thrives to create an accepting, nonjudgmental, and open environment where individuals can feel safe and heard, while sharing their stories and the impact they have.

Amanda Campbell, LMHC

Amanda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the owner of Campbell Counseling, Inc.

Amanda works with couples and adults. She has completed the Level 2 certification in Relational Life Therapy and is trained in Internal Family Systems. Her therapeutic style is informed by attachment theory, Jonice Webb’s work on childhood emotional neglect and Dan Seigel’s work on interpersonal neurobiology.
